Q1. Is there public transport from kibera to the new site in the school? No students have to walk up to 2km to the school. The only roads available would be a round about journey of more 12km. Q2. How come the Kenya government does not assist the school? The government policy is that either one is a private institution or a public school where by they will appoint a teacher/s to head the school and a board of governors with no attachment to the ideals of clc. hence the enrollment and consideration of kibera students will be diluted or overlooked. In short the institution will be run down since the clc will absolutely have no voice on the affairs of the school. |
